Our story · Spokane Valley
Born behind the espresso bar.
A barista who wanted a better chai, a pink stand on Bowdish Road and a lot of hand-ground spice.

Based in Spokane, Washington.
Quality over quantity
Mandala Chai started behind the espresso bar. After four years as a barista, our founder noticed nearly every coffee shop poured the same chai, so she set out to make a better one, based on the flavors we love that remind us of home.
Today our team of brewers uses hand-ground spices, fresh-cut ginger and authentic techniques we are proud of. Mandala became a familiar name in Northwest coffee culture, and you'll find it in specialty cafés and markets across the region.
Every harvest is different
We value the diversity in every spice harvest. When you drink our chai, you'll notice slight changes through the year based on where the spices came from and the climate they grew in. We choose single-origin spices the way great cafés choose their coffee beans, and we source ingredients from farms around the globe.
Fresh, never preserved
We pride ourselves on not using any preservatives. Mandala is a fresh-brewed chai made with real spices, and it uses less sugar: we sweeten with a blend of vanilla, pure cane sugar and molasses, and we skip the honey to do our part for the bees.
Coming soon
Keep an eye out for our new decaf and sugar-free concentrates.
